Cookie Policy
Effective date: August 22, 2026
This policy describes the cookies and similar storage technologies used by enterprisesva.com, operated by VA ENTERPRISES LLC. It reflects a real post-build audit of the deployed website, not a generic template, and it is kept in sync with what the site actually does: if the technical inventory below ever changes, this document changes first.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember information between pages or visits. Browsers offer similar storage mechanisms — localStorage and sessionStorage — which hold data on your device without sending it to the server with every request. Privacy law (including the EU ePrivacy rules and the GDPR) treats all of these the same way: storage that is strictly necessary for a service you request needs no consent, while storage used for analytics, advertising or profiling requires your prior consent.
This site uses the smallest possible inventory: a single first-party localStorage key that records your consent choice. Nothing else is stored in your browser.
2. The complete storage inventory
The table below is the full, audited list of everything this website can store in your browser. There are no first-party cookies, no third-party cookies, no analytics identifiers and no advertising identifiers.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
va_consent | localStorage (first-party) | Remembers the choice you made in the consent banner (accepted, rejected, or custom preferences) so the banner does not reappear on every visit. Contains only your choice and the date it was made — no identifier, no tracking value. | 12 months, then your choice expires and the banner asks again |
3. The consent banner
On your first visit, a banner at the bottom of the page offers three options. "Accept" stores your acceptance. "Reject" stores your refusal of everything that is not strictly necessary. "Preferences" opens a panel where each category is listed individually: strictly necessary storage (always active, because without it the site cannot remember your answer) and analytics (currently unused on this site, and off by default).
The banner appears only after the page has finished rendering and never blocks the content: you can read the whole site without answering it. Whatever you choose, the site looks and works exactly the same, because no functionality here depends on tracking.
An important honesty note: this website currently runs no analytics at all. The analytics toggle exists so that, if we ever introduce a privacy-respecting measurement tool, your refusal will already be recorded and honored before anything loads. Nothing fires today regardless of your setting.
4. How to change or withdraw your choice
You can reopen the preferences panel at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page, and change or withdraw your choice with immediate effect.
You can also erase the stored choice directly: delete this site's data in your browser settings (usually under Privacy or Site Settings), and the banner will ask again on your next visit. Because the key lives in localStorage on your device, deleting it removes every trace of the choice — there is no server-side copy tied to you.
5. What this site does not use
For clarity, an explicit negative inventory as of the August 2026 audit: no analytics services (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Matomo, none), no advertising or remarketing pixels (no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads tag), no session-recording or heat-mapping tools, no embedded third-party widgets (no chat, no video embeds, no social buttons), no fingerprinting, and no third-party requests of any kind — every asset, including web fonts, is served from this domain.
The contact form sends data to our own server only when you press submit, and only after you tick the consent checkbox. That processing is described in the Privacy Policy, not here, because it involves no browser storage.
6. Strictly necessary server-side processing
Our web server keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These are server-side records, not cookies, and are covered in the Privacy Policy. They exist whether or not you interact with the consent banner and cannot be switched off, as they are necessary to operate and defend the service.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
Independently of our banner, every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data globally or per site: Chrome (Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings), Firefox (Settings → Privacy & Security), Safari (Preferences → Privacy) and Edge (Settings → Cookies and site permissions). Because this site does not depend on cookies, blocking them here breaks nothing — at most, the consent banner will greet you on every visit.
8. Changes and contact
If we ever add a technology that stores data in your browser, this policy and its table will be updated before that technology ships, and consent will be requested where the law requires it. The current version, with its effective date, is always published on this page.
